......of bad people with questionable barbers.

but I suppose worse than having a bad haircut is having Sweeney Todd as a barber!

BLOOD OF FRANKENSTEIN

Another Frankenstein.

This time from the movie BLOOD OF FRANKENSTEIN.

I confess I've never had the opportunity  to seen it and to be truthfully brutal I  don't really have much of a need to,  I was really struck by that ugly mashed mush look that this version of the doctors handiwork had in photographs I came across in a horror film book. Liked the freakishness so much I had to draw up a likeness in my pad. (From what I gather from reading reviews the film sucks, be warned! )

DATE WITH THE DEAD.

Just though I'd post up these images of a Calendar for 2016 from Flame Tree Publishing just in case anyone was in the market for a good old zombie themed wall decorating calendar.

Yep that's my art on the cover and there's a couple more of the same lurking inside along with fantastic artistic offering from  some extremely talent zombie depicters.
Included are pieces by Aron Simms , whose creature designs can be seen in 2011 The Thing, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, The Mist and Sucker Punch to name but a few,  also in this nicely printed product you'll find an amazing Christian Quinot painting of a zombie group. You can enjoy a year filled with zombies without having to endure an apocalypse!

PLANET TERROR

In one heck of a nutty but extremely satisfying movie Tarantino rocks up into the last third portraying   one of the most decidedly unpleasant characters I've ever seen on screen,  he then acts out an thoroughly  obnoxious personality and then as just desserts for his psychopathic slant he suffers one of the most jaw dropping and uncomfortable to watch demises.
Yet somehow this person and his questionable attitudes (credited as Rapist number 1 no less!) seems to fit perfectly in a whole movie of oddball and wacky characters .
Planet Terror offered many interesting figures to depict but although appearing in the story for the briefest of screen time I went with the Quentin Tarantino character here because of his deservedly nasty death.
